Gregg, regardless whether your sexual orientation is hard-wired or by choice it is outside nature's design. There are endless kinds of physical pleasure, many of which can result in a release of sexual tension. But, the fact is, homosexuals exclude biology's "main event." I wish you happiness of all kinds in all of your relationships and I will support your wish to formalize the status of your relationship with an exclusive partner in a way that conveys certain rights and benefits but I object to that being included in the definition of marriage. You know, at some point in life, if two completely heterosexual friends decide to share time and property, maybe they should petition the government for some beneficial legal status. Would that be reasonable. Probably. Would it be "marriage"? Nope. Enjoy your life. Nobody cares what you do with your privates but don't expect everyone to celebrate what you do with them.

Certain parts of our anatomy exist in a way to encourage and promote that. You may prefer sticking your d*** in some guy's rear but it's not favored by anatomy. If that's what you want to do, fine by me. But, please, don't pretend it's the same. Of course only heteros may naturally reproduce. Do you have other evidence? I don't know why you're bringing church and state into this discussion. No one else did. Shall we add religion to the list of things you hate?

Let me ask you a fundamental question: why do homosexual men reject sexual intercourse with women? Do you not like women? Is there something about the act that seems yucky to you? Not saying you should or could change. Just curious. Why do you find women sexually inferior?

The fact that they did not honor their commitments does not alter the meaning of marriage. Some people don't pay their bills. That may damage their reputation and credit rating but it does nothing to alter the meaning of the contracts they signed.
