I didn't say anything of the sort. I posted comments suggesting the reason MSM is losing money (and clout) is because they fail to report all the news. The reference to left-wingers suggested only that they, like right-wingers, would like the media to report all the news.

Your reference to the internet is correct in citing it as a major cause of the MSM's predicament. No one wants to pay for something when they can get if for free (and more conveniently). And yet - many internet-based business models are based on advertising income just as media are. This is a problem MSM can solve. I think you may overlook (MSM certainly does) the fact that the internet provides coverage of pretty much all the news. The part of the public that gives a hoot about being informed is increasingly saying, "We don't need no stinking gatekeepers."

There is a good piece on this subject that claims MSM has ignored its core competency. I agree.

Nothing more nothing less. And sorry to burst your bubble but one I have never considered the Post a left wing agenda paper and two there are so many left wing news media outlets on the internet it is going to burst your head.

Green, I have been in the news/info businesss most of my life. Surely you know, I'm an info junkie. I pay attention to everything - left, right, national, regional, foreign, trades and whatever else is open source on subjects that matter to me.
